Chaplain Joseph Ravenell

Chaplain Ravenell of Trenton State Prison is the Founder and President of THE COMMUNITY NETWORK. He is personally acquainted with the needs of offenders from his daily contact inside the "wall". Chaplain Ravenell is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. He entered the prison chaplaincy with the intention of involving the community in partnership ministry with prison chaplains. He also serves as pastor of Samaritan Baptist Church in Trenton. He and his wife Mary have three sons and live in Lawrenceville.

The Rev. LeRoy Holmes

Bishop LeRoy Holmes is the Executive Director of the COMMUNITY NETWORK. He works out of the Plainfield office ministering to offenders in prisons and communities throughout New Jersey. He coordinates all activities of THE COMMUNITY NETWORK and serves as pastor of the Resurrection Temple Church in Linden, NJ. Pastor Holmes would welcome the opportunity to speak to your congregation or group about the prison ministry, its needs and effectiveness. Bishop Holmes, also a former inmate who WAS and IS called by GOD to minister to the needs of ex-offenders of all walks of life both non-carcerated and in-carcerated a like. The COMMUNITY NETWORK is also an International Prison Ministry that has seen Bishop Holmes visiting ex-offenders in over 11 different countries including England with a visit to the Royal Castle and a visit with her Highness Queen Elizabeth.

The Rev. David McAlpin, Jr.

Rev. McAlpin is COMMUNITY Co-ordinator and Treasurer of THE COMMUNITY NETWORK. He is a Presbyterian minister who served three pastorates but now devotes full time to prison ministries from his office in Princeton. He also shares in the ministry of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church of Princeton and lives in Skillman with his wife Joan. They have four grown children.

Sharon Anderson

Sharon Anderson is the co-ordinator of the ministrry in Middlesex County. (Tel.201-442-5642) Before coming to THE COMMUNITY NETWORK she directed the prison ministry at the Second Baptist Church in Perth Amboy. She is actively ministering at the Union County Jail and Edna Mann Correctional Facility.

John Doll

John Doll is the volunteer co-ordinator of the Mercer county area. He guides the ministry from the Trenton office. Mr.Doll and his wife Gwen are great assets to the ministry.
